About Wealt

Wealt is a London-based, principal-led private markets co-investment platform for sophisticated investors across EMEA: HNWIs, family offices and post-exit founders. We source, research and structure high-conviction opportunities, and we commit our own capital in every transaction before inviting investors to co-invest alongside us.

We pair institutional access and proprietary research with a digital-first experience, and we manage the full investment lifecycle end to end, from structuring the vehicle to investor updates and exit.

The role

You will own investment and fund operations end to end, working directly with the Founder on every deal from first DD to post-investment reporting. This is a hire for someone who has already run SPV or fund closings and can take ownership from the first week. This is the seat that keeps every transaction on time, compliant and well documented.

The role exists to close a gap most small platforms struggle with. On one side sit the commercial conversations with investors and partners; on the other, fund administrators, legal counsel and compliance. You will speak both languages: reading a subscription agreement or side letter and flagging what matters, running KYC/KYB to a standard a compliance reviewer signs off first time, and translating all of it into clear next steps for investors and the team.

This is not a back-office role. You will be in the room on live deals, shape how our processes scale as we launch funds, and be the person investors and partners trust to get things right.

What you'll do

Due diligence and legal documentation

  • Run operational and legal DD on new opportunities alongside the investment team: vehicle structure, manager and counterparty checks, fees, transfer restrictions
  • Review subscription agreements, side letters, LPAs, SPV operating agreements and NDAs, and flag non-standard terms, risks and missing protections before they reach the Founder
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on drafting, mark-ups and execution
  • Maintain the institutional research and DD file for every transaction

SPV and fund operations

  • Own the deal timeline from launch to close: subscriptions, capital calls, fund flows, closings and distributions
  • Be the day-to-day contact for fund administrators, ensuring instructions, reconciliations and investor records are accurate and on time
  • Maintain allocation, commitment and cap table records, and reconcile them against administrator and bank data
  • Support the operational set-up of new funds as we launch our annual vintage structures

Investor onboarding, KYC/KYB and compliance

  • Run end-to-end onboarding for individuals and entities: KYC/KYB, source of funds and wealth, investor classification and suitability documentation
  • Keep every investor file complete and audit-ready, and escalate red flags to compliance oversight
  • Help implement and maintain policies and procedures required under our Appointed Representative arrangement, including financial promotion sign-off workflows and record-keeping

Closing and post-investment

  • Issue closing confirmations, investor statements and corporate action notices
  • Prepare post-investment and portfolio reporting with the investment team
  • Track portfolio events (follow-ons, secondaries, exits) and coordinate their execution

Investor relations support

  • Act as the operational point of contact for investor requests, from document queries to transfers and tax paperwork
  • Support the Investor Relations team with accurate, timely answers and materials

Process and systems

  • Document and improve workflows across deals, onboarding and reporting
  • Keep HubSpot, Notion and our internal tools clean, and build trackers that show the status of every deal and investor at a glance
  • Work with our engineers to automate repeatable steps on the platform

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • 2–6 years in fund operations, fund administration, private markets, a law firm's funds or corporate team, or compliance in financial services, including hands-on ownership of SPV or fund closings
  • Confident reading legal documents: you can review a subscription agreement or side letter and explain in plain English what it commits the investor to
  • Working knowledge of KYC/KYB and AML: beneficial ownership, source of funds, PEP and sanctions screening, investor classification
  • Exceptional attention to detail; you notice when a number, a date or a clause is off
  • Clear, professional writing for investors, administrators and counsel
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, and quick to pick up new tools
  • Comfortable owning outcomes in a small team with real deadlines

Strongly preferred

  • A degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Management; a legal background (LLB, GDL/PGDL, SQE or a training contract) is particularly valued
  • Exposure to SPVs, closed-ended funds, secondaries or co-investment structures
  • Familiarity with the FCA regime, including Appointed Representative arrangements, client categorisation and financial promotion rules
  • Experience working with fund administrators or transfer agents

Nice to have

  • A professional qualification such as ICA or CISI (compliance), ACCA/ACA (accounting) or CFA Level I, or willingness to study for one
  • Experience with fund jurisdictions and financial regulations on investments
  • Experience with LLM tools, agentic AI and traditional SaaS: Intercom, HubSpot, Notion, Zapier or similar

What we offer

  • Full-time, hybrid: London office
  • Competitive salary and equity participation
  • A direct working partnership with the Founder, with input to every stage of the investment process
  • Support for professional qualifications (compliance, CISI or legal) and industry events
  • Real ownership from day one: the processes you build will define how Wealt scales
